Medical Equipment Donation Drive this Weekend and Free Medical Equipment Available
A wonderful non-profit organization called St. Louis Help (www.stlhelp.org) is hosting a medical equipment donation drive this weekend. The drive is on Saturday, October 24th from 9 am to 2 pm.
If you have medical equipment that is not being used and taking up space, consider making a tax-deductible donation of the equipment to St. Louis Help. Do you know someone who needs medical equipment? St. Louis HELP loans the donated home medical items to anyone in need, at no cost.
They accept the following equipment. Manual wheelchairs, shower chairs, tub transfer benches, canes/crutches/walkers, Rollators (seated walkers), grab bars, elevated toilet seats, portable commodes, lift chairs, seating cushions/back supports, folding ramps, diapers/ bed pads and Invacare (ONLY) electric hospital beds. You can drop off the above listed items at the following seven (7) locations this Saturday. If you have a question about a prospective donation, please call them at 314-240-0796 before Friday. They are happy to answer your questions beforehand.
