Senior Resource Options’ (SRO) Summer Event Wrap-Up and Summer & Fall Event Calendar
Senior Resource Options (SRO) is a group of professionals that offers services to seniors and their families. StaffLink’s founder and President, Gretchen Curry, is a founding member of Senior Resource Options (SRO). SRO was founded over ten years ago. StaffLink is the only home care and private duty agency that is a member of Senior Resource Options (SRO).
Besides our President, current members of SRO are Bruce Petrov (Home Maintenance Solutions), Loire Kroeger (Grassmuck Realty), Kerry Ghormley (Mutual of Omaha), and Lisa Sesti (Assisted Living Locators). Kerry Ghormley is a founding member, also.
Bruce Petrov’s business provides home repair and maintenance services for seniors. Loire Kroeger is a real estate agent that specializes in the senior market. Kerry Ghormley, is an insurance agent that offers various health insurance products to seniors and long term care insurance for those planning ahead. Lisa Sesti’s business helps seniors find the appropriate senior living community to meet their needs when they have chosen to move from their homes.

Past Summer SRO Events
On Tuesday, May 14h, Senior Resource Options (SRO) participated in the Senior Resource Expo and Health Fair at VFW Post in St. Charles MO. The event was hosted by Guide4SeniorLiving.com. The Guide4SeniorLiving.com is an on-line resource guide for seniors. This event was held from 9am to 12pm. The event was well attended. Our nurse, Donna Neumann, BSN represented StaffLink at the event.
On Tuesday, June 13th, Senior Resource Options (SRO) participated in the West County Senior Lifestyle Expo at Greensfelder Recreation Complex in Queeny Park. The event was hosted by the West St. Louis County Chamber of Commerce. An estimated one hundred (100) businesses participated. The time of the event was 9am to 12pm. Again, our nurse, Donna Newmann, BSN represented StaffLink at the event.
Upcoming SRO Summer & Fall Events
On Tuesday, August 20th, from 9am to 12 noon, Baue will host their 19th annual Silver and Gold Senior Fair. There will be over 50 senior resource vendors. The event will be held at Waters Edge Banquet Center in Saint Peters, MO. Progress West and Fairwinds Rivers Edge will offer health screenings. The St. Louis Strutters will provide entertainment. If you are free that morning, please come by to visit our booth!
On Tuesday, September 10th at 11:30, SRO will sponsor the Baue Silver and Gold Club Luncheon for seniors. To attend the luncheon you must be a member of the Silver and Gold Club. The lunch will be held at The Christy Banquet Center. The theme of this lunch will be Viva Las Vegas! There is a rumor that Elvis will be in the building!
SRO will participate in the City of Chesterfield, MO’s annual Trunk or Treat informational expo for seniors at Central Park on Thursday, October 10th. This is an outdoor event. The time of the event TBA.
